Painting the nursery

We are finally getting things done. Jeff painted the nursery on Thursday and it looks so good. We chose a lavender color called One Enchanted Evening, it's from the Disney line, can you tell by the name?? :-) It is a beautiful color and it reminds me of purple cotton candy! The dogs enjoyed "helping" in their own special way and they both ended up with patches of paint in their fur! We ordered our new carpet today, and it will be installed the 2nd week of April, so after that we can finally unpack the crib and stuff. FUN!

Proud papa!

Caesar is so excited by the new paint he has to howl about it!

Ashley's first game

Ashley had her first soccer game this weekend. Her and Lincoln hunted for Easter eggs, got their faces painted, and met the Easter bunny in the morning, and then it was off to the game! Jeff snapped some good action shots of her during the game, she did a great job!

HAILEY

Jeff and I have decided to change the way we were going to spell Hailee's name to HAILEY. We did it for a couple different reasons, we just wanted to let people know so they wouldn't be confused. I am going to leave all the older posts with the incorrect spellings because I'm lazy :-) Her middle name will remain the same, Teresa.

B.O.B

Where to start? I first heard about the B.O.B from a co-worker who raved about it. When Jeff and I started looking at strollers we weren't too impressed, they seemed bulky, heavy, and a pain in the butt to close. While out shopping, I saw a few B.O.B's cruising around the mall. They looked sporty and comfortable, so as soon as I got home I started doing research on the B.O.B (Jeff and I research EVERYTHING, we are nerds at heart!). Anyway, long story short. We found that the B.O.B will accommodate Hailee (it's compatible with an infant seat!) and our lifestyle for many years to come, much longer then a regular stroller will...soooooooooo, with the help of our dividend check from REI, and a 20% off coupon, we were able to get an awesome deal on the B.O.B. I can't wait to get Hailee in it to go for walks around the neighborhood!

Spoiled much?

It's rough being a dog in the MacDonald household...Caesar and Moose rule the roost and they enjoy all the human benefits, sleeping on the couch, sleeping in our bed...That pretty much sums up a day in their life! Caesar loves to curl up under our down comforter, as you can tell from the picture!

Ashley and Lincoln

I have been meaning to add pictures of my adorable niece and nephew on here forever, so here are some recent pics of them. Honestly, could they be any cuter? Ashley will be playing in her first soccer game this weekend, so there will be more pictures to come. In the pictures, Lincoln is helping his dad put together his little bicycle. Too cute!

Shout out to one of my favorite blog fans...

Yes Jamie Maupin, you can touch my belly! That means we have to get together soon for Tino's!! Hailee loves Italian food!

25 weeks

Wow, 25 weeks already. Time is flying by, July is just around the corner! Although I am beginning to wonder just how big is my belly going to get? Sleeping is getting a bit more uncomfortable and I am having some back aches, but nothing too bad! I still really enjoy my sleep!

Congrats Michelle, R.N.!

My friend Michelle graduated from the Nursing program at Skagit Valley College tonight! She will be working at Skagit Valley Hospital as a Progressive Critical Care Nurse. Exciting!! The graduation was really nice, but unfortunately, I forgot my camera at home so I didn't get any pictures! SAD! Congrats Michelle, you are going to be an amazing nurse.

Michelle also gave me a gift tonight, it was a Christmas gift, so that tells you how long it's been since we have seen each other! It's a great preggo relaxation package! Complete with massaging slippers, dill pickles (Michelle's favorite!), chocolate, bath bombs and a therapeutic wrap! Everything is great and I can't wait to get in to the slippers! Thanks Michelle!

Welcome Cal Kenneth O'Brien!

Jennifer and Matt welcomed their first child, Cal Kenneth in to the world on March 14 at 6:09am. He weighed in at 7 pounds 2 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. Jen says he has lots of hair and little dimples, cute! I can't wait to come down to Oregon to meet baby Cal!! Congrats again Jen and Matt!

Yippie!

It's been driving me nuts that Jeff can't feel the baby move like I can. He was probably getting annoyed with me for constantly sticking his hand on my belly and saying "Can you feel that? That? THAT??" Well, finally my pestering paid off! After I went to bed last night, Hailee was performing an acrobatic show in my belly and it felt really strong to me, so I called Jeff in to feel. I figured she would probably stop when he got his hand on my belly, but she didn't, and he was finally able to feel her bumping around in there! It was amazing and I am so happy that he as finally able to feel something! I am excited for the movement to get stronger so he can feel it better.

Thanks Grandma Wendy!

Grandma Wendy bought Hailee some really fun toys, outfits and shoes! The shoes are so tiny and are so detailed. It's unbelievable to think that Hailee's feet are going to be small enough to fit in them.

Cute, cute, and more cute!

My Aunt Dianne and Uncle Fred sent Hailee the sweetest little outfits! They are all so adorable. She really is going to be the best dressed baby on the block. Her closet has more clothes in it then mine!! Thanks so much for the thoughtful gifts!

24 weeks 1 day

We had an appt today with our doctor and we got to hear Hailee's heartbeat again. It never gets old :-) The doctor did notice that I gained a few pounds this month...it was all the yummy Mexican food!!! I had my first experience with heartburn yesterday while at work. I had to check with the nurse at work because I thought I was having a heart attack! It was SOOOOOO painful, I had no idea it would be so horrible! The doctor said it would only get worse, great! So we went to Costco today and I bought a huge tub of Tums. Hopefully they will help!

Dogs

Jeff relaxing with the dogs after getting back from the trip...they really missed us!

Weenie clothes

Auntie Amity bought Hailee some really cute Weenie clothes!!! Everything is SO cute, I can't wait to see her in them.
