Crib

Jeff got the crib put together tonight. It looks beautiful! I am going to put together the changing table tomorrow. I can't wait to get her room all together :-)

New carpet!

Yeah! It's finally here! No more ugly blue carpet! We had a busy week moving furniture to prepare for the new carpet, we (Jeff) also painted the den and the hallway, including the ceiling! It looks like a whole new house. I think we are pretty much done with major house projects for awhile! Here are a few photos...

29 weeks 2 days

We had an appt with our Dr. on Wednesday, everything was good. We go back in on May 7th for the ultrasound, and we will also start going in every 2 weeks for appointments now. WOW! That really makes me realize how close we are getting to July 1st! We are signed up to take our birthing class in May, that should be fun!

So true...

Wow, this is true! I have developed a huge sweet tooth and I am constantly craving goodies. I am trying to be reasonable and not eat too much junk, but sometimes you have to give the belly what it wants darn it!!

28 weeks

Constantly I wonder how big my belly (and everything else) is going to get. I feel so enormous now, that I can't imagine how I will feel when July finally gets here! I can barely tie my shoes!!! My cold is slowly fading, I think. I still don't feel good and don't want to do much. I am hoping it goes away soon. I think Hailey is getting annoyed with me being sick too. Whenever I cough (which is often) I must squeeze her pretty good because she often gives me a good kick afterwards!! She has been pretty active, especially when I lay down for bed. Jeff enjoys feeling her kick and watching my stomach move. It is all pretty surreal still.

We are getting the new carpet installed on Monday, WOOHOO! I can't wait! We also have a doctor's appt on Tuesday, and they should schedule us for the 30 week ultrasound to check on the fluid in Hailey's kidneys. We are hoping and praying the problem took care of itself. We will keep everyone updated.

Winston

This weekend I was sick, so we doggysat Winston (my parent's dog) while they went to Seattle for Joseph and Cheryl's wedding reception. He had lots of fun playing with Moose and Caesar, and when all the playing was done, Moose curled up next to Winston for a nap. Too cute!! Caesar had to make sure to keep an eye on his favorite toy, so he slept with his eyes open while Winston was here.

Sick of being sick...

I'm sick! After being cocky and thinking that I was somehow immune to the cold Jeff has, it has struck me with full force. I think Thursday night was the absolute worst, I couldn't sleep because I felt so horrible, and I was so drained, all I could do was cry. Gotta love those pregnancy hormones! Thankfully I have the weekend off so I don't have to worry about using up sick time. I am beginning to feel a tiny bit better, but I still feel like crap. Jeff has been taking excellent care of me, which has been very sweet. The dogs have also enjoyed laying around with me. I just hate wasting a whole weekend doing absolutely nothing. I am off to nap now...

2 year anniversary

Today is our 2 year wedding anniversary, and we spent the night at The Chrysalis Spa and Hotel here in Bellingham. It was soooo relaxing and nice. Our room had a beautiful water view and a big soaking tub, complete with yummy bath bombs and salts. We walked into Fairhaven for dinner and then watched the sunset on the boardwalk. In the morning we headed to the spa for some pampering! Jeff had his first massage, which he loved and I had a facial. We had a wonderful time and it was so relaxing.
