Poor dogs

Don't the dogs look so sad? They have resorted to physical contact with each other, they must be desperate!! It is true that they don't get as much attention as they used to, but we try to give them as much love as we can!

Ferndale street fair

Last weekend we went to the street fair in Ferndale with Grandpa Mac. It was HOT! We met up with The Thomas's. Ashley and Lincoln had cool balloon figures made. Hailey got cranky and fussy toward the end of the day, but it was fun. And we had the BEST hamburgers ever, yum!

Grandma McCoy

On Monday, my mom came up to babysit Hailey while I went to the doctor. It was my first time leaving her with someone besides Jeff. It was very reassuring knowing that Hailey was well taken care of, I didn't worry at all. It was nice to get away for a little bit too. I think Hailey was pretty good for my mom, and only fussed a little bit. Thanks again Mom!!

Grandpa Mac

Hailey may look cute, but she was actually being a stubborn little girl in this picture. Last night I started the bed time routine at 9pm...and the process continued (with lots of screaming) until Jeff got home from work at 3am. I was so happy to pass her off to Jeff, and of course she was quiet as a mouse for him and went right to sleep. She must have worn herself out.

Jeff goes back to work...

Jeff headed back to work today after 6 weeks off. I can't believe how fast it flew by. It was so great to have him home for so long, I couldn't have done it without him. He is such an amazing daddy and husband. Hailey and I are so lucky!

Who me??

Hailey now weighs 9 lbs 7.5 oz. She is really developing a personality. She is smiling and cooing more. It's so sweet. She continues to sleep and eat well. She enjoys her swing and watching her mobile. She does pretty good at tummy time, and has a strong neck already. We have found that she HATES her car seat, or maybe just riding in the car. It doesn't make for pleasant car trips.
