Even though it's been cold, we still like to get out of the house to do things. So we bundled up and went to the beach. The tide was in so there weren't any crabs to be found, but Hailey had fun throwing rocks and shells in to the water and digging around in a tree stump. After the beach, we walked down to Woods coffee for some hot chocolate and to play on the playground. We also got to watch a train go by, which Hailey thought was really cool.
We renewed our Zoo membership during our most recent visit to the zoo. Hailey has so much fun checking out all the animals, that it only makes sense. Even though it was a cold day, we saw lots of animals. The best were the gorillas who were very playful. The baby gorilla was being very playful with it's mama and it was really cute to see their interactions. Hailey was concerned because the gorilla's didn't have shirts on :-)
My Uncle John and Aunt Marka stopped by for a visit on their way home from Canada. They hadn't seen Hailey since she turned one, so I was excited for them to see how much she has changed. Hailey took to John and Marka quickly, and enjoyed telling them stories and dressing them up. Hailey also got to show them the deer that walk through the back yard. Thanks for the visit!
Hailey got a dress up box filled with princess dresses for Christmas from Papa Mac. She loves to pull everything out of the box and pile as much of the stuff on as she can...today she was really interested in the hats. She is such a little ham for the camera.
This is the picture from the Police Ball in December. The quality of the picture is awful in person (we got a refund), but I'm sad because we forgot our camera at home that night, so this is the only picture we have of that night. SAD!
