Our baby girl

I was so excited about today that I didn't sleep at all last night! At our appt. we spent about an hour having our ultrasound done. It was amazing how much our little one has changed since we last saw her! She enjoyed having her hand in her mouth and we were able to see her mouth opening and her tongue coming out. She cooperatated with having her picture taken and her measurements taken, but when it came time to see "the goods", she was a bit shy. After a lot of poking and proding, she finally gave us a great shot (picture 4). Everything looked good, she does have some fluid in her kidneys (renal pelvis dialation) which isn't normal, but the doctor said it wasn't something of great concern, and it's something that might go away with time. We will have another ultrasound at about 30 weeks to check the kidneys again. We got to hear her heartbeat, it was going strong at 146 beats per minute, and they estimated she weighs about 9 ounces.
The first picture below is of our baby girl face down, her head is on the left and she has her hand tucked under her chin. The second picture is of her hand and arm. The third is of her cute little foot (the white spot under the black circle). And finally, the shot of her girl parts. Her legs look stubby because the area from the knee down is hidden behind her thighs.
We don't have any names yet, so we will get working on that. She is going to be a Daddy's girl, that's for sure!
