Halloween 2010

I'm kinda late getting these pictures up, but better late then never! Hailey went as Minnie Mouse for Halloween, but from the pictures you can't really tell because she was bundled up. We went trick or treating with Ashley (witch) and Lincoln (superman) around my Father in Law's neighborhood. Hailey enjoyed going up to houses and picking out candy. She was really obsessed with lollipops, and it's all she could talk about the whole night :-)

Jeff and I enjoyed on snacking on all the treats she got :-)

Fall pictures

Clarkston

A day after we got back for Disneyland, we loaded up in my parents RV and made the drive to see our friends the Scott's. Jeff and KC used to work together in Everett, and it's been awhile since we were able to see them and their son Tristen, so we were very excited to see them!

Tristen and Hailey had a lot of fun exploring the 6 acres of land they live on and checking out the neighbor goat. They also got to explore a really cool "tunnel", which was really an empty culvert, and play in a sand pile.

It was a great 4 days that seemed plagued with bad luck (red wine spilled on carpet, a gravely ill family member, etc), but it was so great relaxing with friends after the kiddos going to bed and learning how to play Mexican train dominoes. :-)

Disneyland!!

Our trip to Disneyland was beyond amazing. Here are the highlights:

-85 degree weather the first 2 days.
-Hailey was a perfect angel on the flights.
-My mom flying down to join us for a couple days.
-Seeing Hailey's face when she saw Mickey Mouse for the first time.
-Lunch with the Disney Princesses.
-Riding "It's a Small World" 10+ times because it was Hailey's favorite ride.
-Watching Hailey mouth the words for "It's a Small World" while riding the ride...Precious!
-Thunder Mountain Railroad!
-Universal Studios
-In and Out Burger
-Seeing the Chinese Theater and Hollywood Blvd. for the first time
-Visiting the Le Brea Tar pits
-Finding the Hollywood sign.
-How well Hailey slept the whole time we were there. :-)
-Being relaxed!
-Swimming in the pool with Hailey.
-Trick or treating in Disneyland in the pouring rain!
-Yummy food!
-Dumbo ride
-Hailey saying "I want to go in there" to every store we passed.
-Breakfast burritos at the coffee shop near the hotel.
-Best.Vacation.Ever

These are only a tiny glimpse at the pictures we took. Hailey loved every minute of this trip and so did we. We look forward to going back soon!

Stoney Ridge 2010

We visited Stoney Ridge Farm before we left on vacation and had so much fun visiting the animals, eating hot donuts, drinking hot cider and searching for the perfect pumpkins. Hailey really enjoyed running around in her rubber boots, and splashing around in puddles, and riding in the wheelbarrow.

Hailey LOVED the little train ride they had there, and she rode it 2 times. I think she would have rode it over and over again if we would have let her. We can't wait to carve our pumpkins!

Farm fun

My friend Jill offered to take Hailey and I out to her sister's farm to see the animals and get some pumpkins, so on Friday off we went. Hailey got to meet 5 LOUD basset hounds, horses, bunnies and goats. She got to pick out 4 pumpkins (she really liked the baby ones). She even got to go into the chicken coop and pick out an egg, which she thought was the coolest thing ever! She carried it around with her and even wanted to hold it in the car. I thought for sure she would squish it, but she didn't! After we got home, she spent 30 minutes carrying around the pumpkins and placing them around the house.

Park fun

More fun times in Everett

Jeff hadn't been to the Everett Children's Musuem, so Hailey and I took him down there to play. He was very impressed, and Hailey had fun showing him the trains and the water room.

Feeding the ducks

Finally!

We upgraded to fun front loading washer and dryer! I have wanted these for sooooo long and Jeff finally gave in to my complaining! :-) These are so much more energy efficient and fast, I just love them. Even Jeff does laundry now, it's amazing.
